A long over due update...

Well I said in my last blog so very, very long ago how time had flown. Now I am realizing I have not posted since December and feel incredibly guilty. So much has happened but really so little has changed. Micah is 10. Growing like a weed, got her new glasses for school and looks adorable. I transfered her to R-3 from Caruthersville (for those of you who don't know it is the little country school that my whole family went to). It is a little pricey for me BUT well worth every cent. She has started band now and is playing the drums. Her class only has 14 people in it which is a big perk in her world. She prefers a smaller atmosphere and already knows most everyone in the school. Her teacher is an amazing lady named Miranda Doss, who is in her first year of teaching and doing a fantastic job. Micah is having to play catch up because they were a little ahead of her old school but she is handling it well.

I am still at the Chamber, still traveling every chance I get and still not seeing anyone. I think this is simply the way it is meant to be. I am however writing for the Newspaper again. I will be posting my articles on here for anyone who cares, beginning with the back ones which you can see above.

We went to Disney World again this year. This time with our friends and first time Disney people Amanda and Shonda and their kids. We also make a quick stop by Daytona so that Dallas and Shonda could see the ocean. It was a fantastic time and I was NOT ready to come home. While I have not got to take my white water rafting trip as planned for this year I have scheduled a trip to Texas with the cousins and a trip to New Orleans with some friends to FINALLY check out the House of Shock haunt. I am really excited about both. And I am also looking forward to Thanksgiving when we will have a house full or should I say a farm full. LOL Aaron and Ash are coming home and bringing our newest members of the family Tim and Jenny and their kids. Aarons family is coming in. My grandads old friend Chuck and his wife will be there and maybe a couple buddies of mine as well. Needless to say it is going to be a really great time. Last year there was ummmm "fireworks", shooting, golf cart rolling, eating, shopping, catapulting and rabbit hunting. Only to name a few. This year promises much more and we can't wait!
